Children are being honest, specific, giving descriptive feedback and critiques in an effort to encourage student excellence in First Grade.
You will hear no crying or yelling; see no paper or pencil throwing; stomping of feet, or laughing. Why? Because these children have learned about descriptive feedback and that it is okay to make a mistake the first few times you try something new. That school is a place that you come to for learning about new things, not a place for you to show what you already know. That honesty can be very helpful to someone else when it is done with respect .
