TWO BOYS FROM BROOKLYN ( AND ONE FROM TEXAS)

from Beth

Greetings friends!  I’ve been performing this program around SoCal the past several months and audiences really love it.  It’s one of my favorite and most joyful programs in the last several years and is great for kids and adults since I chat a bit about the music/composers between selections (and it’s a short and sweet program).

I hope you can join me and be amazed how some Gershwin works sound like Joplin and some Copland sounds like Gershwin.  Lots of familiar music too including; Gershwin’s I Got Rhythm, They Can’t Take That Away from Me, The Man I Love, Lady Be Good and many more as well as Joplin’s Pineapple Rag and Maple Leaf Rag.

Beth

The performance is on Saturday evening, February 13th at 7 p.m. in the Sycamore Room of the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way Mission Viejo

Tickets, which are $10, are available at the door.  For more information, call 949-470-4880.
