Naynara Tangeland has been homeschooling her two children (10 and 6) for 4 years. She has a degree in Studio Arts and Graphic Design from CSULB, and an Associate Degree in Elementary education from a college in Brazil. She has taught art classes and workshops for children in Brazil and in Orange County for about 7 years. In her classes and workshops, Miss Nan, as she likes to be called, aims to maximize the learning experience by integrating art with other disciplines such as science, literature, and social studies. She considers herself a facilitator, providing the tools children need to learn, be creative, and have fun at the same time. She has created a puppetry program called Make A Master.
