Kaelie Mann is a local dance teacher from Laguna Niguel, CA. She started her classical ballet training at the age of three under Maria Lazar, and was one of the original students of Dmitri Kulev Classical Ballet Academy.  While training at DKCBA, Kaelie had the opportunity to dance principal roles in productions including CinderellaPaquitaThe NutcrackerA Midsummer Night’s DreamPeter Pan, and Coppelia. During her time at DKCBA, Kaelie competed in the Youth America Grand Prix New York City Finals and European Finals.  She also attended prestigious summer programs at The Kirov Academy (Washington D.C.), The Washington School of Ballet (Washington D.C.), Ballet West (Salt Lake City), and the Bolshoi Ballet Academy (New York).

Kaelie continued her dance education at the Boston Conservatory where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Contemporary Dance Performance in 2014. She trained in ballet and modern techniques under master teachers such as Adriana Suarez, Donna Silva, and Marcus Schulkind. While at the Conservatory, she danced lead roles in Twyla Tharp’s Eight Jelly Rolls, Dwight Rhoden’s Hissy Fits, Trey McIntyre’s Blue Until June Suite, Daniel Pelzig’s Trio in A Minor, and Francesca Harper’s A Root In Liberty.

After graduating, Kaelie joined Nashville Ballet as a second company member where she danced corps roles in company productions including Paul Vasterling’s Swan Lake and The Nutcracker. Kaelie also dance the principal role of Anne in Gina Patterson’s Anne Frank while on tour with the second company in Kentucky.  Kaelie found her passion for teaching through Nashville Ballet’s Community Outreach Program where she often performed and taught movement to under privileged children all across Tennessee and surrounding states.

Kaelie is now a full time ballet teacher in Orange County, and loves working with students of all ages and levels!  She is a teacher at our community partner, OC Music & DanceClick here to see the classes she is offering at this location.

Through the benefits of dance students will grow in balance, flexibility and body conditioning.  We are excited that Kaelie is bringing her talents and skills to the homeschool community.  Join Kaelie as she brings history and various cultures to us through dance on Wednesday, Thursday and teaches ballet on Friday.

Friday classes are in Ballet for Level 1 and Level 2.
