Level 2 (Intermediate): Students continue to build their technique and ballet vocabulary in a quick paced, traditional ballet class that starts at the barre and moves to the center. This class will focus on balance, coordination, flexibility, strength building, and mastering basic jumps and turns.
Prerequisites: Students should be familiar with ballet vocabulary through the barre (pliés, tendu, jeté, rond de jambe, frappé, fondu, développé, and grand battement) and have at least 1 year of prior dance training.
Attire: Form fitting exercise clothing that is easy and comfortable to move in (no jeans please). Ballet flat shoes are preferred, but socks are ok if necessary. Girls must have their hair pulled back off of their faces in a ponytail or bun.
