Instructors teach the core subjects using active learning in a workshop format. Students develop Math skills while being taught piano keyboarding and other music lessons. Students build their Science skills through the exploration of matter and electricity, and their visualization skills through a Junior Maker class provided through the Chuck Jones Creativity Center. All classes are designed to strengthen each student’s understanding and abilities in both artistic and academic subjects.
Junior Achievement concepts are inclusive throughout their coursework. Students learn about: the roles people play in the local economy, basic economic skills, career options, and the importance of basic math skills.
The fees reflect two – 16 week semesters and apply to the entire academic year.
BEE reserves the right to change the arts electives based on artist availability.
